Mission Statement

To inspire and empower skaters of all levels, whether competitive, recreational, or beginner, by providing high-quality skating lessons in all of skating’s disciplines. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every athlete feels encouraged to develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals, both on and off the ice while having fun and creating life-long memories.

Vision Statement

To cultivate a community of passionate skaters who thrive in a positive and nurturing atmosphere, where safety, growth, and enjoyment are at the forefront of every skating lesson. My goal is to foster lifelong love for the sport, inspire excellence in every skater, and create a space where all individuals can reach their full potential, regardless of age or experience because skating truly is for everyone.

FIGURE SKATING LESSONS

I leverage 30 years of experience to help figure skating athletes develop immersive training plans to help them achieve their goals. On Ice Advantage figure skating lessons focuses on mastery of fundamental skills because they are the building blocks for figure skating’s most advanced elements.

POWER SKATING LESSONS

With an extensive background in figure skating and a deep seeded passion for hockey, power skating lessons will focus on the fundamental skills future hall-of-famers will need to compete at an elite level. Skating lessons are tailored specifically to the needs of the individual player to maximize power, agility, speed, conditioning, and focus while implementing a game-centric mindset to their game.

My two sons have been working with Coach Josh for over two years, starting from a Learn to Skate program and now both playing on competitive travel hockey teams. Throughout this journey, Josh has been an incredible coach and they genuinely enjoying skating with him. He works with them individually every week, and the progress we’ve seen in their skating ability, confidence, and discipline is truly impressive. LEARN TO SKATE LESSONS

Learn to Skate is where the journey begins! Participating in the Learn to Skate program builds life skills, self-confidence, discipline, and is a great way to stay active and meet new friends! Even if you or your skater are just starting out, private skating lessons help to unlock the challenges of skill instruction to skill execution to get to the next level and closer to accomplishing your goals. It’s never too late to start, because skating is for everyone!
