Important Dates & Events

A few short announcements for December:

Friday, Dec 5th – Holiday Show Dress Rehearsal at 18:00

If you are in the holiday show, please be on time and ready to go for the dress run at 18:00. Follow all direction from coaches and show volunteers to help this go as smooth as possible. Normally we have a tech run, but that is not the case this year, so this is our only chance to get a good rehearsal in before the shows the following day.

Saturday, Dec 6th – Holiday Show Adjustments

Normal freestyle, synchro, and stroking, and Learn to Skate classes. All public ice, and therefore private lessons after 12pm, are cancelled. There are rehearsals for the show during the afternoon, please know what time you are expected on the ice and be ice-side ready to go 10 minutes early.

Holiday shows are at 15:00 and 18:00. Be on time and remember that we will have paying audiences for these shows, so act professionally while in the building and backstage. Follow all instructions from coaches and show volunteers. Most of all, have FUN and SMILE!

Monday, Dec 7th – SWFFSC Annual Holiday Dinner

This is an event for SWFFSC members who opted in via EntryEeze (notices were sent out previously). This is a formal event, so dress your best and enjoy a wonderful night of great company, food, and holiday festivities!

Saturday, Dec 13th – Hockey Tournament

All freestyle, synchro, stroking, and public sessions have been cancelled, and therefore all private lessons due to a weekend hockey tournament. Normal classes resume the following Tuesday.

Saturday, Dec 20th – Last Day of Learn to Skate

There are no Learn to Skate or Hockey Academy classes starting Dec 21st through Jan 3rd. Private lessons are still on as planned.

Please let me know if you have any holiday plans that will affect your normally scheduled lesson times so that I may adjust the schedule and offer additional time to those requesting. There are no lessons on the following days:

Dec 24th
Dec 25th
Dec 31st
Jan 1st

Enjoy the continuing holiday season and as always, please reach out with any questions or concerns!
